Designed for Savannah Mitcham, a cross-functional fitness athlete with Cerebral Palsy, the Savannah Bar can fit the needs for adaptive athletes and kids in the athletic field. Made with steel in the USA, this bar can hold your body weight (plus your lifting partner's). Move the bar to any height on your rack and start working out! No excuses!
See the inspirational story and the bar in use on our blog post.
As far as kids' use, one of our local box owners bought the Savannah Bar so she could share her workout time with her kids. Here's what she has to say about her son using the Savannah Bar:
"He really enjoys that pull up bar, by the way. He has been doing a lot of workouts with me at the gym, and I thought I'd surprise him with his own pull up bar. My partner said we needed three more, and the reception by our members has been great. It adds a lot of value for them!"

I was about to order a similar bar from another company (synonymous with scoundrel), but their shipping rates were ridiculous, and they confirmed that they have no protective lining on the inside of the bracket. The PRx version does have a protective lining and I expected this bar to be substantially better with its 34% price premium. What a disappointment; the premium is only in price. First, the packaging was simply a cardboard box. The retention pin was missing (not that it comes with a very good one). The powder coat looks like it was done by a high school shop class: there are massive scratches all over the PRx logo, weird brown splotches, and the texture feels like sandpaper... maybe that last part is intentional. Then it's topped off with an extremely cheap looking, plastic endcap. The welds don't look much better than those on my existing rack from a budget brand. In fact, my fixed budget-brand pull-up bar feels much better than this PRx bar. I can return it with the 30-day guarantee, but after shipping and 10% restocking, it's almost not worth the effort. Save yourself the headache and look for another alternative.
I wish a safety pin would have came with the bar.
Ope - sorry about that, Eric! The pin is on its way to you.
My son and daughter (7 and 5) have recently become interested in exercise, but weren't able to reach my high mounted pull-up bar. The Savannah bar mounts easily on my foldable rack, and can be adjusted to the perfect height for them using the front rack holes that are closely spaced for ideal height adjustment. It's also surprisingly sturdy, easily capable of supporting my 200 lbs without any movement. I absolutely recommend it!
My kids love this bar. It's simple and works great! I do have a couple suggestions. Line it with thin UHMW so it doesn't damage the rack. I stuck felt inside mine to prevent damage and make it fit a bit tighter. Also, we need that storage solution ASAP!! Thanks for the great product!
My kids love the bar. Cool attachment. However, the whole brand is designed around an attractive, space saving, wall mounted work out solution. Every component I’ve purchased has a storage component you can purchase separately. When I reached out to ask about this one, the response was, “really no solutions/options there, some put it on the bar mount but it looks wonky.” Would be an easy to design/storage solution to make.
Thanks for the feedback, Josh. A storage solution for the Savannah Bar is on the list!
